GIG: King Kapisi and Che Fu - WANAKA HQ Thursday 30th December 2010

That's us - the last gig for me in Aotearoa before heading to REHAB in Rarotonga to celebrate the New Year with our Cook Islands Peoples - Che and I will be rocking the WANAKA HQ until the early hours of the morning.  Get there before 11pm  - tickets will be $10 before then, $20 after 11pm. YIA!

Just in case you didn't know SCALPER is one this country's illest artist/producer types of rap music. Going down the slightly dark and twisted but fully conscious road of lyrical inspiration - this brother is one you should follow. You can buy his music here -  He will  be supporting Public Enemy on their tour here in NZ in January 2011.  Scalper also co-produced one of my singles - Safari - Bo!

Whats better then one emcee who loves hip-hop? TWO emcees ya'll.  And that's exactly what you will experience next Thursday at Hope Bros in Wellington. Che Fu and King Kapisi will be spinning on the wheels of steel whilst simultaneously ripping up the microphone keeping you in a hip-hop 'HEDLOK' for a time. Look out for more dates to be announced in the South Island before the year is out. WORD.
